Trout’s MW2 Custom Class Guide – Sub Machine Guns: Vector
By admin | May 19, 2010
For me this gun is the inferior gun of the SMG bunch. It can be good in the right hands, but there are quite a few problems that make it worse than the other guns. You want to make this gun be able to kill as fast as you can because all though it’s got a high rate of fire, it’s not very strong.

Warcraft Gold Guide Herbalism 1-300
By admin | May 19, 2010
My main character is a level 60 Tauren Shaman (go cows!), I dropped Skinning (very easy to level) and picked up Herbalism, for one reason – cash. Although all server economies vary a lot (and I do mean a lot!), high level herbs sell for enough to make it worth spending an hour picking them and selling them on the auction house. At the top end, a stack of herbs might sell for 10g/15g (or more), and getting a couple of stacks in an hour isn’t too difficult.
If you have picked up Herbalism at level 5, then you can largely discount this guide as a way of skilling up. By picking Herbs where you are currently leveling, you should naturally improve your skill in Herbalism. Instead this guide is really intended for people who have already reached a high level, and wish to either change or pick up Herbalism as a profession.
There are a few things that you can do to speed up leveling Herbalism. First off, is that Tauren receive +15 Herbalism as a racial skill – not (in my opinion) as good as Human’s bonus to reputation gains, but better than a kick in the teeth if you take up Herbalism Next up, there are two glove enchants that provide a small bonus to Herbalism (+2 and +5). These bonuses don’t make much difference, but will mean that you can go from one area to another just that little bit quicker.
One tip that I can give, is that if you have a set of gloves with either +2 or +5 enchant on them, only use them if you can pick herbs you otherwise wouldn’t be able to. By not wearing them, you can eak out more skill ups than otherwise (eg, if you have a skill of 195 and Herb goes grey at 200, wearing a set of +5 gloves will mean there’s no chance of a skill up, not wearing them gives you 5 potential skill ups and a stack or so of herbs).
Finally, Druids and Shaman have a distinct advantage over other classes as both have a travel form. In Ghost Wolf form, you can actually pick herbs (no need to come out of it), and Druids can flick into Travel Form and back again, with no time issues. If you are using a mount between each spawn of herbs, then you have the extra 3 second cast time to summon your mount after each pick.
To grind out a gathering skill from 1 to 300 is a relatively simple process for a level 60. Very few mobs will give you real jip, and most won’t even agro you. For Herbalism, I reckon that a 4 or 5 hour solid grind would be enough to sort you out (excluding travel time).
The following is a rough list of where I would recommend to pick herbs and at what skill levels. Please use your own intelligence when it comes to picking herbs! Grey herbs won’t ever give you a skill up, so unless you want/need them, leave them alone. Don’t go into a new zone until you can pick at least 50% of the herbs available. Download and install the gatherer add-on and gatherbook (use this to download a large file with every spawn point), this will allow you to make educated guesses as to what areas to go to, to collect different herbs.
1-100 – Durotar.
Couldn’t be simpler, just go the length of Durotar and collect anything you can. Herbs are close together and to be honest, pose no real difficulties. You can quite happily stop Durotar at skill level 75, and go onto The Barrens. However with the very high concentration of herbs, I actually found it quicker to carry on until 100 (where almost everything goes grey).
100-150 – The Barrens.
Begin in the Northern Barrens and then head south. Although there are lots of spawn points, I found that most herbs seemed to appear in clumps of two or three and then a big gap between them. As such using a mount isn’t a bad idea.
150-200 – Alterac Mountains and Arathi Highlands
Two options that to be honest, arn’t too different from each other. Arathi has more spawn points, but is slightly larger. However I actually preferred Arathi Highlands as it allowed me to do Arathi Basin Battleground runs and flick back to picking herbs with no downtime
200-240 – Tanaris
This was the slowest place for my grind but I wanted Firebloom to level up enchanting. The spawn points are miles apart and it’s frankly in the middle of nowhere. Better alternatives would be Stranglethorn Vale (for those not on a PvP server!), Dustwallow Marsh or Swamp of Sorrows.
240 – 280 – Feralas and Swamp of Sorrows
Feralas has an abundance of Sungrass and the Swamp of Sorrows an abundance of Blindweed. Simple really; By now you are picking herbs that sell for OK cash. As such, I’d recommend sticking to a single zone and try to get stacks of the same herb as this ought to bring in more cash (whole stacks rather than part stacks).
280 – 300 – Varies
To be honest, I’d say that there isn’t a single area that is better than another for the last 20 skill levels. Winterspring is nice once you hit 290, as there are only three different herbs there that sell for good money. The Eastern Plaguelands has an OK amount of Plaguebloom. Pretty much, do whatever you fancy, providing you’re getting skill ups, who care!
On the Auction House
OK, some pretty fundamental ground rules for using the Auction House.
First off, know your punters and your opposition! If you want to sell something as a regular event (such as Herbs) check the Auction House every night for a week or two, for the item you are selling. Look for patterns. If there appears to never be your item on the Auction House every Monday, Tuesday and Friday, but items overloaded on a Wednesday and Saturday, and then you’ve already spotted a trend that you can exploit.
Next up ensure that you know what professions and recipes require your item. One example of this is the herb Wildvine. Wildvine is used in Alchemy, Tailoring, Blacksmithing and Leatherworking; it drops from other herbs when you pick them. Now the greatest single quantity of Wildvine used in one recipe is 6. Others use 1, 2 and 4. As such, selling a stack of 7 Wildvine is not as desirable as a stack of 4 or 6 to most punters. Not all customers have big blobs of cash to spend, and if somebody just wants to make an item that requires 4 Wildvine, why do they want to spend extra gold on 3 more when they’re never going to use them!
Next up is overloading. If you’ve spent 4 weeks farming Icecap from Winterspring, and have ended up with 40 stacks of the stuff, don’t be so stupid as to stick all of it onto the Auction House all at once. As well as costing you for each listing, it will actually lower the cost of that herb as your opposition undercuts you, and customers see that there is now an abundance of it available.
Don’t forget that many players have real lives. During the weekend, the Auction House goes mental and items are bought and sold every minute. During the week, this is much, much slower. Having said that, never be afraid to try selling items in the week. If the regular farmer of an item only plays at the weekend, and there’s a person out there who plays every night, then you’ve found your corner of the market!
Finally, don’t forget the basics. If you are farming for a specific profession (herbs for Alchemy, ore for Mining, etc), then identify the most basic item required and farm it like mad! Selling Copper Ore at 50s for a stack of 10 will make you quite a bit of cash over time

What WoW leveling guide do you recommend?
By admin | May 15, 2010
I’ve been playing WoW for a good year or so and I’m tired of the constant slow leveling, what leveling guide do you recommend for leveling? I was maybe thinking Zygors guide but i don’t know.
you don’t need a leveling guide. Just quest and do an instance here and there. Also you probably know by now, but you should have cords on your map so that you can use wowhead.com while questing. Questhelper is also an amazing addon but sometimes takes you to the wrong place. You might know this already but when you have a quest shift click the name into your chat log thingy before pressing enter then highlight and control c it. then in wowhead control v it. then you look at the comments and woolah your quest will be done supa fast

What is the best free gold guide for WoW?
By admin | May 15, 2010
What Gold Guide on WoW gives the most gold and is actually fun to do?
Tip 1:
Defias Windmill- This is a great place to farm that can be done at almost any level. This spot was revealed on the official forums right after release and to this day it hasn’t changed and is still great.
If you head out to the Gold Coast area in Westfall you will find a windmill on a hill overlooking the beach (there is a murloc camp right below it on the beach). Surrounding this windmill are a ton of Defias mobs that you can kill and get a ton of linen and other good humanoid loot. They are only around level 12 so it easy to do.
What makes this area so great is that their respawn rate is almost immediate. Even at level 60 I can come here and farm linen cloth and they have started respawning before the first of them are even dead.
I’m serious when I say it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to kill them all before new ones respawn.
You can take them on one at a time or AOE if you have the ability and farm non-stop.
You can easily make a lot of money off the linen and low level greens that drop here. In fact, like I said above, this spot is so good that I still grind it at 60 when I need cash fast. You will get numerous stacks of linen and a ton lower level green rank items. This will work at even low levels.
Tip 2:
Dark Iron Mining- This is the gathering technique I routinely use to make 30-60 gold in an hour. Yes, you really can make that much gold using this system.
Dark iron is a very valuable material that is used to craft high-end items and also for reputation gains with the Thorium Brotherhood. Put simply, it is worth a lot of gold. It is only found in two places in the entire game, Blackrock Depths and Molten Core. Obviously, Molten Core is a 40 main raid instance so you can’t sneak in there to get ore. That leaves us with BRD.
Upon entering the BRD instance there is a door to your left. You will need to be able to lockpick it or you will need to have the Shadowforge key to open it (obtained by completing a quest inside BRD).
Once through there you can either walk straight ahead or turn right through another door. You want to walk straight ahead to the area called the Dark Iron Highway. In this area is where you are going to make tons of gold mining ore.
There are numerous dark iron spawn points in this area and on each run you should be able to get to one or two of them. Simply mine the ore, leave and reset the instance to do it all over again. You will need a couple of people at least for this or if you are a rogue or druid you can stealth in. Also, hunters can run in and feign death to escape the mobs around the ore.
Some times you will need to clear some mobs around the ore to mine it. Sometimes it will all be clear for you. Other times it will be behind so many mobs you won’t be able to reach it and will have to reset the instance right away.
A word of warning about the mobs in that area-there are bloodhounds in this area that can see through stealth from very far away for their level. Also, they hit very hard but fortunately don’t have much health. You may have to fight a few of these to get to the ore, but they can easily be soloed if you are careful.
I average about 20-40 dark iron ore per hour using this technique. Considering that dark iron ore sells for anywhere from 1 gold to 4 gold a piece it is easy to see that this is insanely profitable. I had the money for my epic mount using this technique for just two days. It’s that good!
As an added bonus, the dark iron ore points also have a chance to drop the Blood of the Mountain, a component for rare recipes. This sells for around 30-100g. Sometimes I get two of these per day and other times none. If you see one just consider it an extra bonus.
There is a full color map of all the mining points and the exact route you need.

Can You Really Make Tons of Gold Per Hour With Nyhms World of Warcraft Guide?? Review Inside
By admin | May 15, 2010
Well, I was looking for a guide to help me find the quickest way to get to level 80 so I could actively participate in PvP battles with my guild and then I stumbled upon Nyhm’s Warcraft Guides.
After I found this, I found out they also included a gold making guide, pvp guide, and a profession guide! He also throws a reputation guide and a newsletter in there as a bonus. My initial thought was, this is way to good to be true but I had some spare cash from the holidays so I decided to try it. After using this guide for about 3 weeks now, I have to say it is worth more than the $50 that I paid for it(It is originally $80 but has a 40% discount on it).
First off, I leveled my Horde Warlock from 38 to 80 in 5 days flat. Then I decided to toy around with the money making guide and managed to make 6,000 gold in a few days. They update the guide weekly and even updated it for the newest WoW expansion. These guides do it all for you, whether you want to earn money fast and been an auction house trader, dominate Battle Grounds and PvP, finding the quickest method to leveling, these guides have it all. And they are very instructional with tons of pictures and videos to guide you along the way.
To top off it all off, they have a 60 DAY REFUND POLICY so if you feel that the guide wasn’t worth it, you get your full money back immediately. Forgot to mention that everything in this guide is legal and doesn’t go by Blizzard rules. The only downfall of this guide is that the free guides that they threw in didn’t contain information that would necessary help you but hey its a free guide after all right? This has honestly been a life saver and stress reliever for me and I am sure it will be for you as well. For more info and reviews please check the site below…

The End of a Traditional Warcraft Gold Guide?
By admin | February 19, 2010
I have been a big critic of Warcraft gold guides for a long time. They all claim to do the identical thing – assist you to get as much gold as you can and yet they all use similar rehashed strategies. How can you make that much gold if you are using the same strategies and tactics as all the other gamers. The crowding and overlap is significant. Remember when you once were able make 1,000 gold an hour in Icecrown with Titanium mining? I do. These days, you’re lucky to come away with 500 gold and the price has doubled since Wrath of the Lich King was released because of the 3.2 gem additions.
So, when a new Warcraft gold guide comes out and claims to be better than all the other ones, I tend to roll my eyes. This time however, I took a closer look because the guide in question wasn’t showing anyone how to farm or quest their way to major gold counts. Instead, this particular guide, called Hit Gold Cap, claimed to be a streamlined, step by step process to making the entire gold cap – a count of over 214,700 gold – something that I’ve only seen once before in my entire time playing this game (and that was on a guild leader).
The WoW Gold Guides these days may mention the Wow gold cap, but none has been so brazen to claim it can get you there without hours and hours of your life devoted to farming (I estimate it would take over 400 hours to get there with normal farming methods). So, having a gold guide like HitGoldCap, that is not too big, not too overwhelming with information and very brazen with its claims is interesting.
And the early word is that this Hit Gold Cap guide actually works quite well, showing players how to master the auction house and the market prices of multiple goods using a combination of four add—ons and new techniques that have not before been seen in gold making.
By the time you get to the last two lessons in Hit Gold Cap, you’re learning techniques I’ve never seen before, upping your gold counts by far more than I originally thought was possible. They’re unique, clever, and best of all useful in almost every way. If you’re serious about making a fortune in World of Warcraft, then this is the HitGoldCap guide to help you get there. Just make sure you follow every tip carefully. This is not your typical Warcraft Gold Guide. You need to be sure of what you’re doing the whole way along
Basically, if you’ve ever been interested in mastering the content in World of Warcraft to a degree where you can make the entire gold cap, you should stop by HitGoldCap and see what all the fuss is about.

Why Team IDemise Leveling Guide Will Help You Power Level
By admin | February 4, 2010
When it comes to playing World of Warcraft, there are literally thousands of power Leveling Guides out there. How do you pick one? Should you go with the cheapest? Should you go with the most expensive? How about the one with the flashiest website? Well, how about none of the above?! There is one guide that stands way out above the rest, and that is the Team iDemise leveling guide. Why is this one guide so great, you ask? Let me give you six reasons why this is the one and only guide for World of Warcraft that you will ever need:
Reason #1: This guide was written by real, hard core, professional gamers that know their class, their leveling, and their WoW inside and out. You can rest assured that you won’t have to worry about getting some rewritten garbage from a writer that’s never played World of Warcraft and you won’t have to worry about getting real information that is actually meant for players.
Reason #2: You will find nothing out there like this awesome Team iDemise leveling guide in-game addon that actually gives you the guide’s instructions in the game. There is nothing even close to this out there on the market today, and you will find that it is so in-depth and easy to use that you simply cannot go wrong. While some people say that it’s similar to the QuestHelper addon, you’ll quickly find that it isn’t and it offers you so much more than you could ever get with other addons.
Reason #3: The Team iDemise leveling guide offers a different version for both Horde and Alliance that were written by really players that have level 80 toons – they have tried out this leveling guide and tweaked it so that you too can level like a pro. Plus, when they say that you can use their guide to level to 80 in less than a week – it’s true. (While this means a straight through play time, it also means that those that have to take a bit longer to play, can still level extremely fast.)
Reason #4: The Team iDemise leveling guide was made for every area of the game, which means that you can adjust the different part to where you want to be. For example, if you are playing the Horde and you are tired of leveling in the Barrens, you can simply change it over to Silverpine Forest and go from there. There is no set path for the guide, and you can play where you want.
Reason #5: The Team iDemise leveling guide also offers you a great website that will give you a full layout of how to install their guide, FAQ’s for after you are using it, and much more. Many World of Warcraft Guides out there don’t offer any help after you purchase their guide, but not this one. You will find out that this is a great guide, with great support after you purchase it.
Reason #6: When you purchase this WoW leveling guide, you’ll quickly see how great it is. And, with all of the new content that is constantly coming out in WoW, the are always updating their guide to offer you the fastest way to level possible. So, you can rest assured that you’ll get only the best guide out there.
It does not matter if you are just a casual gamer or a hard core WoWhead that needs just a little extra bump in some areas – Team iDemise leveling guide will give you that edge over other gamers and help you to get to level 80 in the blink of an eye. No longer will you have to sit and wait for your buddies to run you through a dungeon to help level you, you’ll quickly be up there with them – running the good raids.
